We are a Foremost Haulage / Logistics Company with our head office in yaba and a branch office in Lekki jakande.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Truck Mechanical Engineer

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Assist with preventative maintenance and repairs of trucks in the yard.
• Inspecting trucks for proper performance.
• Drawing up schedule for regular maintenance.
• Carry out electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs on the trucks.
• Diagnosing problems with truck break down and deciding the best way to repair them.
• Maintain records of equipment repaired along with time spent on such equipment.
• Maintaining and managing stocks of supplied parts and equipment.
• Establish maintenance procedures, policies and managing maintenance budget.
• Keep record of maintenance and repair costs, incidents and procedures.
• Familiarity with different truck brands as well as their parts and fittings.
• Good knowledge of the market price for truck parts.
• Ability to source for, establish and sustain working relationships with vendors for truck spare parts.
• Follow all laid down safety standards.

Qualifications

• B.Sc or HND in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2 – 5 years work experience with HOWO and MAN Diesel Trucks.
• Exceptional technical, problem-solving skills and reasoning ability.
• Ability to communicate effectively, clearly and also generate regular reports.
• Must be self-motivated and a great team worker.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is necessary.
• Track record and practical knowledge of the job.
• Excellent math skills, experience using diagnostic equipments will be an advantage but not compulsory.
• Must be willing to resume immediately.

Salary
N80,000 – N100,000 Monthly with additional benefits.
