Job Title: Network Engineer

Job Description
- Carry out extensive surveys toidentify the optimal equipment and solutions for delivering the requested services,
- Create design diagrams, initiate, and complete the procurement process,
- Carry out the actual installations as projects alsothe maintenance of these installations.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and operational excellence during all levels of engagements with customers – including during surveys, service delivery (installations) as well as support calls/visits.
- Perform design optimization and audit of a network to meet customer requirements.
- Design the optimization of RAN, BBA, Transmission, Core, OM, and Services Networks.
- Executedesign, audit, and optimization of services, where you will be accountable for part of the solution and of the service process.
- Drive changes in the methods, processes, and guidelines within the customer organization or internally.
- Provide technical support in customer discussion, presentation, and workshop.
- 2G, 3G, and LTE parameter consistency checks tuning, and optimization to improve throughput, Accessibility, Retainability, Mobility, etc.
- Handlescustomer complaints and provides solutions with proper explanation reports.
- Whole Network parameter audit and to provide a recommendation to sort out inconsistencies.
- implementand recommend parameter settings to better data services.
- Participatein the development of service portfolio
- Engagewith CTO level at customer end to present project updates, strategic direction, risks, and recommendations for Network improvement programs
- Act as a leader and mentor in day-to-day operations to provide insights for less experienced colleagues.
- Engagewith sales and accounts teams to Drive add-on sales and new business opportunities during the entire process to contribute to increased sales volumes.
- Engagewith Managed Services teams to plan and coordinate common activities and develop synergies leading towards common goals. Job Requirements To be successful in the role you must have.

Qualifications
- Minimum of a B.Sc. Computer Science / Computer Engineering / IT Related Disciplines
- Minimum of 2 years experience within the telecommunication
- Cisco Network Certification/PMP is a bonus
- Practical Experience with Network Connectivity Installations (Routers & Switches)
- Practical Knowledge of Wireless Technology and Installations (any of RF, Radio, Microwave, GSM, LTE or Wi-Fi, and Base Stations).
- Microsoft Office Suite competence [Bonus: Visio, MS Project]
- A good understanding of computer networks as well as some aspects of project management (Cisco Certification/ PMP is a bonus).
- A good grasp of technical installations (wireless & wireline), the use of applicable tools, and willingness to learn more.
- Good understanding of relevant wireless technology (hardware) and other network connectivity equipment including routers and switches.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project.
- Must be comfortable with MS Visio for drawing survey and network design diagrams.
Salary
N10,000 – N15,000 / month
