Job Summary
- As the Store Manager, you will lead a team and oversee all aspects of the store operations, including sales, customer service, managing employees and maintaining excellent ambience in line with health and safety regulations.
- Your overall objective is to ensure smooth operation of activities in the store and maintaining good relationships with customers.
Responsibilities
- Supervise colleagues to attendto customers, stock taking, store keeping, receiving goods, displaying goods, restocking, selling items and daily accounting of sales etc.
- Create a good communication link with bakery staff to ensure the right products come out quickly
- Ensure that staff are conversant with products and their prices
- Ensure sales entries are correctly entered and receipts are issued to customers for every transaction
- To ensure the punctuality and time keeping of your team to quickly address any absenteeism
- Explore opportunities to drive sales through different medium including the use of social media and other channels
- Develop business strategies to raise our customers’ pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability
- Responsible for procurement of items required for production and packaging of bread and pastries
- Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff
- Maintain outstanding store ambience, ensure standards of hygiene are maintained and that the store complies with health and safety regulations
- Monitor customer needs and provide feedback into new product introduction
- Handle customer complaints and queries
- Prepare reports and other performance analysis required for decision making

Qualifications
- OND, HND or B.Sc. in any field
- Must have minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar environment, ideally in a supervisory role.
- Must be computer literate, working knowledge of Point of sales software, and use of POS machines.
Demonstrable Skills and Competence:
- Ability to maintain a calm and polite posture in stressful situations
- Willingness to cooperate with customers and management to resolve any issues that may arise
- High level of professionalism & integrity
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-oriented, firm, decisive and energetic
